# Neil Stewart

Rev. Dr. Neil Stewart grew up in Northern Ireland and came to faith as a teenager before studying medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, where he met his wife, Catherine. After serving as a pediatrician in Belfast, he pursued a call to ministry, earning his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2002. He has since served as senior pastor of churches in Mississippi, Georgia, and North Carolina and has contributed to several books, spoken at conferences, and written for Ligonier’s Tabletalk magazine. He and his wife, Catherine, have six children. Dr. Stewart currently serves as senior minister of First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC.
