Between the years of 1866 and 1868, [William Carlos Martyn (1841-1917)](/authors/william-carlos-martyn) was an extremely prolific writer. He published histories of Martin Luther, John Milton, the French Huguenots, the English Puritans and the Dutch Reformation.
