# A Presbyterian Minister’s Rebus Letter

In the second (1904) edition of [Frank Rosebrook Symmes’](/authors/frank-rosebrook-symmes) *History of the Old Tennent Church* - a valuable resource for the study of colonial American Presbyterianism - his daughter Marion has included some interesting prefatory material, including a biographical sketch of her father, and a sample of his personal correspondence.
