“God found that it was not good for man to be alone, chiefly because he needed the conscious affection of a female heart, to soften the asperities of his own, and thus give completeness to his being. In the deep, full affections of a wife’s heart, the husband finds that appreciation and interest which every soul covets. This stimulates his enterprises. This makes him brave in peril.
