Leonard Woolsey Bacon

1830–1907

Leonard Woolsey Bacon was an American clergyman, writer, and social commentator who graduated from Yale University and served pastorates in both Congregational and Presbyterian churches. He was widely known for his prolific writing and for his outspoken engagement with major social, political, and religious issues of his day.
