Taylor is from Memphis Tennessee. He studied History and Political Science at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. While at university, he was converted to a saving faith in Christ, whereupon the Lord promptly placed a call to ministry on his heart thus leading him to study at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. He and his beautiful bride, Julia, are the proud parents of four covenant children.
