William VanDoodewaard
Dr. William VanDoodewaard (PhD, University of Aberdeen) serves as Academic Dean and Professor of Church History. Dr. VanDoodewaard served in pastoral ministry in several church plants in Michigan. Prior to coming to Greenville, he served as Professor of Church History at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, and as a visiting professor at Reformed Theological Seminary (Houston) and Mukhanyo Theological College (Pretoria, South Africa). He has also held appointments as Visiting Research Fellow at Queens University Belfast and Visiting Scholar at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. VanDoodewaard is the author and editor of The Marrow Controversy and Seceder Tradition: Atonement, Saving Faith, and the Gospel Offer in Scotland (Reformation Heritage, 2011), The Quest for the Historical Adam: Genesis, Hermeneutics and Human Origins (Reformation Heritage, 2015), 1 and 2 Peter: Feed My Sheep (Evangelical Press, 2017), and Charles Hodge: Exegetical Lectures and Sermons on Hebrews (Banner of Truth, 2019). He is also a contributor to numerous journals and periodicals, including Tabletalk Magazine.
