Amzi Armstrong, D.D. (August 9, 1784 – January 15, 1858) was an American Presbyterian minister and educator born in New Canaan, Connecticut, who was licensed to preach in 1807, ordained in 1811, and served pastorates in Clinton and Canandaigua, New York, and New Brighton, Pennsylvania, where he was known for his zealous preaching and pastoral care. He taught at various institutions, including a professorship in Moral Philosophy and Rhetoric at Union College, and took an active role in the theological education of young ministers as well as in church judicatory leadership. Armstrong was widely respected for his published sermons, writings, and contributions to Presbyterian scholarship until his death in 1858.
